Instrument

One yield-bearing position: a lending market, vault or staking pool, with its yield, liquidity, safety score and screen verdict.

Object: instrumentId prefix: ins_

Fields

Every instrument in the daily screen is returned, passed and failed. Failed instruments carry the first hard rule they failed in screen.failed_rule.

Free accounts get preview rows: real totals and up to 5 rows, with passing instruments reduced to asset_class, venue.chain, yield.total_apy, liquidity.tvl, safety.band and screen.verdict, a placeholder id ("redacted_1", …) and redacted: true. Failing instruments are returned in full.

    Always "instrument".

  • idstring

    Stable id: "ins_" and 16 hex characters. The same instrument keeps its id across days.

  • namestring

    Asset label as depositors know it, e.g. "USDC".

  • detailstringnullable

    Extra label from the venue, e.g. a vault or market name.

  • asset_classenum

    What the instrument holds. Reports cover stablecoin, bitcoin, ether and xrp.

    True when the position holds one asset (no pair).

    Where the instrument lives.

    The protocol that runs the instrument.

  • venue.protocol.idstring

    Protocol id, "prt_" and a slug. Use it with GET /protocols/{id}.

  • venue.protocol.namestring

    Protocol display name.

  • venue.chainobject

    The chain the instrument is deployed on.

  • venue.chain.idstring

    Chain id, lowercase with dashes, e.g. "ethereum", "op-mainnet".

  • venue.chain.namestring

    Chain display name.

  • venue.urlstringnullable

    The protocol's own app page for this instrument, when known.

  • yieldobject

    Annualised yield, in percent (8.13 = 8.13%).

  • yield.total_apynumber · percent

    Total yield: native plus incentive.

  • yield.native_apynumber · percent

    Organic yield from interest, staking or fees.

  • yield.incentive_apynumber · percent

    Yield paid in incentive tokens.

  • yield.incentive_sharenumber · 0–1

    Share of total_apy paid in incentives.

    Average total APY over the last 7 days.
